How to launch your first Amazon FBA product + 6 hacks to make it a home-run success.

►► How to Make $10,000/Month Online:

There are 2 secrets that you need to know to launch your first Amazon FBA product and make it a home-run success even if it’s your first product. And these 2 secrets are…

1) Sales Velocity
2) Conversions

These are the 2 key factors the Amazon algorithm uses when choosing which products will sit at the top of their search results (the search engine accounts for 90% of sales on Amazon).

Here is what you need to do to launch your first Amazon FBA product and make it a home-run success (even if it’s your first product): You need to match (or ideally improve on) the sales velocity & conversions of your top competitor for 2 weeks.

If you do this… then your item will soar to the top of the search results – and YOU’LL start making all of the organic sales for your product!

Hack #1 to launch your first Amazon FBA private label product & make initial sales: Use product giveaways

Product giveaways for your Amazon FBA private label product are one of the most powerful strategies at your disposal for massively increasing your sales velocity & conversions. You can’t give products away for free but you can give people a heavily discounted coupon that lets them buy it for just 99 cents, which means you are basically giving it away for free.

And this is simple: Sign up for a service like JumpSend or ZonBlast. These services have a huge membership base of people that are keen to purchase heavily discounted items on Amazon. They will then distribute your coupon to it’s members. Not only will this drastically increase your sales, but the conversions will be high: You can expect around 50%.

Hack #2 to launch your first Amazon FBA private label product & make initial sales: Lower the price

If your item starts getting sales (product giveaways are of course a great way to do this) and traction, you can then attract more sales from simply lowering the price below your competition for a week or two. If your product is already ranked in the top few results and you want to climb to the top, this strategy alone can be enough.

Hack #3 to launch your first Amazon FBA private label product & make initial sales: Use SuperURLs

When someone clicks on your product listing after finding it using the Amazon search engine, they enter using a SuperURL: It’s a URL containing tracking information that tells the Amazon algorithm that they arrived at your listing through finding it using the search engine. You can give people this URL instead of your usual product URL to trick the algorithm into thinking that people found (and bought your item) through finding it using the search engine.

Be aware though, this is a controversial method. Experts like Daniel recommend only pushing through a maximum of 20% of your sales this way.

Hack #4 to launch your first Amazon FBA private label product & make initial sales: Use paid advertising

You can place paid ads in the Amazon search engine for your item, targeting specific keywords. When someone buys a product through clicking on it, not only will this increase your sales velocity – but it’ll help your product rank organically for that keyword as well.

Hack #5 to launch your first Amazon FBA private label product & make initial sales: Increase the conversions on your listing & get reviews

It’s not enough to get the initial sales & conversions from drastically lowering your price: You need to have a high-converting listing so that when you reach the top of the search results you’ll keep making more sales than your competitor, otherwise the Amazon algorithm will drop you in the results. Here are some tips for increasing your conversions on your listing:

* Have the maximum number of HD photos that are big enough the customer can zoom in on them.
* Have a keyword rich product title.
* Have multiple bullet points with excellent copy.
* Have a descriptive product description that has photos included in it.

Be sure to email and follow up with your customers, asking them to leave an honest review. If you do this, you can increase the rate of people leaving a review to as high as 10-15% (compared to less than 5%).

Hack #6 to launch your first Amazon FBA private label product & make initial sales: Use Amazon Marketing Services

Amazon Market Services (AMS) is an advertising platform that you need to be specially approved for. When you are approved it lets you advertise on lots of pages on Amazon, such as your competitor’s pages. Because it requires pre-approval, most of your competition won’t be using it. So you can use this to place ads in larger amounts than 99% of your competitors and outsell them.

  1. Can you guide us after we find the product and import to amazon wat else i have to do after that. I m totally new in this and i did find the product and i m trying to find the info after finding the product

  2. At what point should you stop paying for ads and clicks, and depending on free traffic? I know making the investment and giving up a profit initially is important. But, on one hand, I'm afraid that if I stop paying for ads my ranking will drop, and on the other, if I keep paying the amount I'm paying I may never make a real profit.

  3. Thank you very much for the great and clear explaunation. Got one question regardung FBA. (pick, pack and ship)
Does Pick mean that amazon pick the goods from my supplier lets say alibaba suppliers from china and then takes to amazon fullfilment center? Your reply is much appreciate!

  4. Does Aliexpress e-packet deliver to Amazon FBA or is delivery to my home/warehouse and then I have to send goods to customers via Shopify? Also does the e=packet cost listed of $1.89 U.S. apply to every 1 kilo of weight? Great videos Thanking You

  5. Hi,
This was an amazing tutorial, thanks for it
I have launched my first product about a month ago, I used advertising and giveaways with Amazon as Amazon is doing it now, I also lowered the price to almost no profit but I still did not make my first sale, wonder if there is any advise from you or from the good people over here, below is the link to my product

  6. Hello Sarah,
I have watched lot of your videos. There is bit confusion. I hope you will reply my query.
    Here is the query:
I list some product on Amazon taken from Aliexpress or any other sites and lets say a customer places an order in Amazon. Now, first, the delivery time is not be same as the Amazon Delivery time. Second, when the product is delivered to the customer, there won't be any Amazon slips or logo because it was sent from Aliexpress. So, don't you think customer will feel cheated or something like that?

  7. Hi I have a question about launching a product. I accidentally launched too soon and my product has been up for a week with no sales. I'm ready to get people to buy my product now and boost up my product but I'm wondering if I should just create a new listing ? I'm not sure how this works and whether it would still be fine if I keep my original listing up and get a lot of sales now. Please help!

  8. Sorry but Jumpsend does not work to get my product on Amazon launched. I got no requests at all. All I did was waste money. And yes I discounted my product more than 75%. But this program your promoting does not work.

  9. Wholesale Ted's content is MONEY. Thank you so much! Is this content still relevant? More specifically the push method using giveaways for ranking? The reason I ask is because i heard the giveaways hurt ranking because Amazons algorithm looks at average order value. Obviously your AOV would be dramatically reduced with this method. Thanks!!

  10. Sarah, please make a video on what is the BEST—meaning EASIEST INTEGRATION selling platform (Etsy, Redbubble, Gearbubble, etc) to push your printed products to Amazon. I'm in the middle of a nightmare now… Amazon is providing me with EXCEL TEMPLATES to fill out…. dates, types, sizes, colors, and every single detail you can imagine!! To do this MANUALLY???? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE???? There has GOT to be a better way, and if anyone knows how, it's YOU, Sarah. HEEELLLPPP!!!!!

  11. Hi Sarah great videos. I live in UK and want to start dropshipping but can't find many decent dropshippers. I don't want to dropship from China because of delivery times. Can I dropship using USA suppliers to send straight to my customers – are delivery times quicker than China? I know there are lots of dropshippers in USA. Or should I just persevere in finding suitable UK dropshippers where I can get items to sell on existing successful Amazon listings? Would be grateful for your advice. Thank you
