I recently banked a pretty decent amazon check so to kind of celebrate I have decided to go through 12 of my pros and cons of the Amazon affiliate program.

I mention in the video that some of things I say may have changed since I published this. This is because Amazon tends to update their systems, operating agreements and other relevant documentation quite often.
There are 6 pros and 6 cons with some of them affecting you more or less depending on where you live. For example, if you live internationally like I do then your option is an Amazon check or a gift card. This makes the choices very limited.
There are quite a few things you will need to look out for with the Amazon affiliate program as there is quite a bit you can get banned for. The ones that catch people off guard the most is adding affiliate links into emails or offline products such as eBooks. This isn’t allowed and you will get banned doing so. As I mention in the video it’s very important you read through the operating agreement to make sure you do everything correctly.
If you’re looking to monetise your blog or website, then the Amazon affiliate program is a great way to get this done. It’s very easy to sign up with no approval process until you make your first sale (You do need to make a sale within 90 days otherwise you will need to sign up again). It also has a ton of products you can promote.
I hope this video covers enough and the points that I made make sense. If you have feedback, comments or anything else that you would like to say then please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below or over at gusgetspaid.com
